 About Our Team

Meet Amey

Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) & Registered Labor and Delivery Nurse (RN)

I am Amey Fields of Az Breastfed Babies LLC and I am an Internationally Board Certified Lactation  Consultant (IBCLC) and a labor and delivery nurse with over 20 years of experience helping moms and babies with breastfeeding.

I am a wife and mother. My husband Steven retired from the United States Coast Guard in 2016 after serving for 30 years. He is my biggest supporter and when he is not helping me he is always helping someone else.

I have three children, Callahan, Emma, and Conner. Each one of my birth experiences have been very different and each one has shaped me to be the nurse I am today. I have experienced a natural birth with a midwife, a hospital birth with an OB, and a Cesarean birth for a persistent breech baby!

I started working as a labor and delivery nurse in 1998 and in 2010 I was given the opportunity to run the community education department at the hospital I was working at. I became Lamaze certified and began teaching childbirth and newborn care classes to expectant parents. In addition to working as a labor nurse in the hospital setting, I have also assisted with home births and spent 2 years working at a free-standing birth center. In 2011 I started a wonderful postpartum support group called Circle of Mothers that I still offer as a free weekly group today.

My main focus is helping moms and babies with breastfeeding. Thank you for visiting my website. Please click on the links above and/ or contact me for more information on consults, classes, and support groups.

I am also pet friendly so do not hesitate to let your friendly pets say hi if I come to your home for a consult!

Meet Annie

Internationally Board Certified Lactation Educator & Registered Labor and Delivery Nurse (RN)

My name is Annie Rueb. I am a Labor and Delivery Nurse and an IBCLC. I have been a nurse since 2011 and have spent the majority of that time working with families through pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding. I spent a couple of years at a freestanding birth center and the last 5 years at a community hospital in labor and delivery.

My husband Sam and I have two beautiful girls together, Kai and Savannah. Sam is a nurse too and lead our adventure for 3.5 years as he worked as a travel nurse and we live out of our RV and traveled the country. Sam is my biggest supporter and a wonderful human being. Our favorite thing to do is to pack up our kids and dogs and go on an adventure so the travel nurse lifestyle was amazing. Our children inspire us with their adventurous spirit and have adjusted well to homeschooling. You can follow our adventures on IG at @livesmall.traveloften

I am grateful for the opportunity to continue to work with Az Breastfed Babies and as of July 2023 we have returned to the Phoenix area and I am excited to help mothers virtually and in person. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this very important time in your lives.

Meet Sanni

Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) & Registered Nurse (RN)

Hi my name is Sanni Estes. I have been a Registered Nurse since 2008 and a Labor & Delivery Nurse since 2016.I am originally from Germany and went to nursing school in Ludwisgburg, Germany where I graduated.

Over there I have worked at an OB physicians office as well as on a med. surgical floor in the hospital. I moved to Arizona in 2014 where I worked towards transferring my RN licence and temporary worked at a free standing birthing center in Phoenix before I was hired in Labor & Delivery by Honorhealth at Scottsdale Shea where my passion to help families with breastfeeding became more and more important to me.

My husband Tyler and I have 5 wonderful children. We have 3 kids that were born in Germany, and our two youngest have been born here in the US.

My husband Tyler is a native Arizonan and works in Sales. He has been my biggest supporter when it comes to my journey to become an IBCLC which I am very thankful for.

As a family we love to play with our dog in our backyard, go camping and hiking. We also love to travel, as visiting my family in Germany will also always be part of our lives.

I am so excited for the opportunity to work as an IBCLC and be part of the wonderful AZ Breastfed Babies Team. I am very passionate and happy to help families with their breastfeeding journey and cannot wait to grow more in doing the most wonderful job ever!

Meet Erin

Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) & Registered Nurse (RN)

Hi! My name is Erin Fyffe, I’m an RN and IBCLC and I have over 17 years experience working with new moms and babies. I started as a CNA in post partum and over the past 15 years I’ve worked as a full time RN in Post partum, Antepartum and even did a short stint in Home care and have been working full time as an IBCLC for the past 7 years now.

I’m a wife and a mother of two children, and we have 2 dogs at home who are beloved members of our family. I love pets, and always look forward to meeting yours!

Learning to breastfeed for the first time was so much harder than I could have ever imagined. We struggled with latching issues and pain for weeks, but I was very determined, and went on to successfully breastfeed each of my children for 2 years.

Going through that struggle lit a fire in me that I never knew existed. I vowed to myself to one day find a way to help prevent other new moms from going through what I did. Breastfeeding quickly became the most difficult and most rewarding thing I’ve ever done and will forever be the one achievement I’m most proud of.

I find it so rewarding being able to help moms reach their goals (whatever they may be) in the comfort of their own homes and help them be able to discover the joy in breastfeeding without having to go through the pain that so many experience. I’m so incredibly honored and humbled by the opportunity to be able to play a small role in a new mom and baby’s feeding journey.

Meet Stephanie

Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) & Registered Nurse (RN)

Hello! My name is Stephanie, I am a postpartum nurse and IBCLC. I have been a nurse for 11 years, the majority of which working with mothers and babies at a community hospital in postpartum. Being a postpartum nurse I have had the opportunity to work with many families. But the time families spend in the hospital goes fast; I found myself wanting to give more breastfeeding support to families beyond the hospital setting! That is why I decided to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.

As an IBCLC, now I can continue working and caring for families in the comfort of their homes; working collaboratively with them to help them attain the breastfeeding life that they had envisioned.

I have 3 children, they have all breastfed and with each we had our own unique trials, experiences and joy! I am an Arizona native. I grew up in a small AZ mining town not too far from the East Valley, and settled in Queen Creek with my family. We have been in Queen Creek for about 8 years and we love it! We love the small town feel of it, but it is growing fast!

Besides supporting moms and babies, I enjoy hot yoga when I can and roller skating with my kids. I am also pretty passionate about reality TV (Hello!! The Real Housewives, Below Deck, and the Kardashians!...I know....gasp!). #FreeBritney

Meet Taylor

Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) & Registered Nurse (RN)

Hi! My name is Taylor Berger. I am a Registered Nurse and an IBCLC. I have worked in Postpartum helping new mothers and babies since 2015. During this time I discovered my passion for supporting women through their breastfeeding journeys.

I graduated with my Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing Degree from the University of Portland in 2014. As a new graduate, I worked on a cardiac telemetry unit, and then transitioned to Mother and Infant care in Postpartum, where I have been working for the past six years. Assisting women as they transition into their new roles as mothers has become a true passion of mine.

My husband Steve and I are Pacific Northwest natives, who moved to the sunny state of Arizona in 2016. We love exploring our new state through hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities. We always bring our side kick; our beloved golden retriever, Scout along for our adventures too.

We are starting our next big adventure, (parenthood!) this year, as we anticipate the arrival of our son in November. I feel so lucky to know that I have an incredible group of women among Az Breastfed Babies who are ready to support me and guide me through my first breastfeeding experience. I cannot wait to take my firsthand experience and continue to grow as an IBCLC in order to be an even better support and advocate for new mothers.

Meet Lauren

Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) & Registered Nurse (RN)

I was born in Canada and moved here after highschool. I can speak two languages. I learned French from kinder to 9th grade living in Canada, but haven't used it so I don't remember a lot. I'm fluent in Tagalog which is the primary language of the Philippines.

I had a poor breastfeeding experience with my first. I tried seeking help but was turned away at the hospital and outpatient. I felt horrible and decided I need to help other mothers. I went to nursing school to specifically become RN lactation. Once I starting working in postpartum, I knew instantly that l've made the right decision. I love helping and supporting families.

Meet Cherro

Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) & Registered Nurse (RN)

I am from Iraq, lived in Syria for 6 years, then moved to the US 17 years ago!I love anywhere with a beach (for a short time though dealing with sand for more than a week would drive me crazy LOL).

I had a really great experience birthing and breastfeeding my first baby, so I started working at the birth center I gave birth at right after nursing school and eventually got my IBCLC certification to help with breastfeeding beyond just the first 24hours after birth!

Meet Sandra

Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)

I am a wife and mother to 3 very active boys that I homeschool.

After a long history of asthma, I had a firm belief that I could never run, but I now run long distances for fun. I ran in the Chicago Marathon in October 2023!

I am am IBCLC and I see families in the Mesa, Tempe, Scottsdale area for lactation consults. I also teach a free breastfeeding class every month at The Motherhood Co.

I have wanted to work in maternal health since the birth of my first child; I have been a childbirth educator, a doula and at one point I thought about becoming a midwife but decided that I like sleep.

I know firsthand how hard and rewarding breastfeeding can be and how human milk is amazing. It has been an amazing experience to learn so much about lactation and human milk for human babies.
